Privacy Policy
Overview
Calculator+ Pro (“we”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Calculator+ Pro app and this website (the “Services”), how it is used and how it is protected. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
In short: your photos, videos, files, notes, contacts and passwords stay on your device. We do not upload them to our servers, and we do not sell your personal data.
Permissions we request
- Camera – to capture photos/videos directly into the app's private space, and for the optional Intrusion Photo feature.
- Photo Library – to import photos and videos you select into the app's private space.
- Contacts – only to store and manage private contacts locally on your device. Contacts are never uploaded to our servers.
- App Tracking Transparency – if you allow it, advertising and analytics partners may use your device's advertising identifier. You can decline or change this at any time in iOS Settings.
All processing of your private content happens on your device.
Information we collect
- Contact information – your email address and message when you contact us for support.
- Purchase data – anonymous transaction information provided by the Apple App Store. We never receive your payment details.
- Usage and diagnostics – anonymous usage, crash and performance data collected via third-party analytics.
- Advertising data – device identifiers and ad interaction data processed by Google AdMob to show and measure ads.
- General data – non-identifying data such as region, language or network provider.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Services
- To respond to your support requests
- To diagnose crashes and improve performance and security
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data or use it for direct marketing.
Cloud storage (Google Drive and Dropbox)
If you choose to link Google Drive or Dropbox, you sign in directly with that provider using OAuth. The app receives an access token that is stored on your device and is used only to list, import and upload files you choose, between the app and your own account. We do not have access to your cloud account or its contents on our servers. You can unlink an account at any time in the app's Settings, or revoke access from your Google or Dropbox account settings.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data storage and security
Your private content is stored locally inside the app on your device and, if you choose, in your own cloud storage accounts. We do not operate servers that store your personal content. Because we never receive your passcode, we cannot recover it or your content if it is lost. Deleting the app deletes its locally stored content.
Sharing of information
We share limited information only with:
- Service providers – analytics (Google Analytics), advertising (Google AdMob) and the cloud storage services you link (Google Drive, Dropbox).
- Legal or business needs – when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
Advertising
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Tapping an ad may take you to third-party services governed by their own privacy policies. Upgrading to PRO removes ads where applicable.
Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe such data has been collected, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA) – you may request access to or deletion of your data. We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent.
- EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR) – you have rights including access, erasure and portability. Data may be transferred outside your region with appropriate safeguards.

Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
